I envy her who watches you
And bears upon your skin
Enlightening your senses
Pulling you like the tides, within.
She seemed to be her fullest
When my tears would often fall
Yet, I continue to hold her dear to me
It’s to her I often call.
I see your face in her reflection,
Your green eyes mirrored against her white soul.
As we stare up at her this is our connection
Warming us on a lonely nights cold.
